Company Tools Policy
Effective date: September 11, 2025
This policy is for TRULINK technicians. Tools, testers, ladders, and other equipment issued by the company stay company property. They are for booked TRULINK work only.
1. What is issued
- The office records which company tools are with each technician.
- A technician uses only the tools issued to them, unless the office assigns a shared item for that visit.
- Personal tools, if a technician chooses to carry them, are not company tools and are not covered by this note.
2. Care and use
- Keep company tools clean, complete, and fit for the next visit.
- Use them only for TRULINK site work. Do not use them for personal jobs.
- Do not lend, sell, or give a company tool to a customer, another contractor, or any other person.
- Do not mark, swap, or replace a company tool with an unmarked item.
3. At the customer site
- Carry the company tools needed for the work that was booked.
- Keep tools off walkways and away from children and pets.
- Do not leave a company tool at the customer site when the visit ends.
- Ask the site contact before using their ladder, drill, or any other tool that is not a company tool.
4. Loss, theft, or damage
- Tell the office the same day if a company tool is lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Call +91 96258 62001 and say which tool, where it happened, and whether the visit can still be finished safely.
- Stop using a tool that is cracked, uninsulated, or otherwise unsafe.
- Replacement is confirmed by the office. Do not buy a substitute and treat it as the company tool.
5. Return
- Return company tools when the office asks for them.
- Return every issued tool when a technician stops working with TRULINK.
- The office checks the returned items against what was issued.
Site work also follows the technician site safety note. Visit charges are in the visit charge policy.
Sincerely,
TRULINK
