This page is for systems that are already installed. A common case is a house, shop or office where the previous installer left, the password was never written down, or the cameras still sit on someone else’s Hik-Connect account. TRULINK comes to the site, restores access, and leaves the system in a state you can log in to.
New camera and NVR installs are quoted separately as CCTV installation.

Unbind a Hikvision device from an old Hik-Connect or installer account when the previous owner or vendor is no longer available.
Reconfiguration
Reconfigure recording, network, app viewing and camera settings after a move, a new NVR, or a system that is no longer working as handed over.
When this service helps
Locked recorder or camera
The admin password was changed or never handed over, so live view and playback are blocked on the NVR, DVR or a browser login.
Old installer still bound
The device shows as already added on Hik-Connect. You cannot add it on your phone because it remains on a previous account.
After a move or new router
Cameras go offline, recording stops, or the app no longer opens after an ISP change, a new WiFi router, or a shift to a new floor.
Incomplete handover
Staff or a new tenant need access, but camera names, time, motion recording or phone viewing were never finished.
What we do on site
Password reset
Work is done at the installed camera, DVR or NVR. After the reset we set a new password you keep and confirm that local login and playback work before we leave.
Unbind device
We unbind the unit from the old cloud account where the site and device allow it, then help you add it on your Hik-Connect login so alerts and live view sit with you.
Reconfiguration
Network addressing, recording schedule, hard-disk status, camera names, date and time, and phone viewing are set so the system matches the current site rather than the old handover.
What is quoted separately
New cameras, an NVR, HDD, cabling or a second visit are not in the visit charge. Those are quoted if the survey shows they are needed.

You do not need the old password. Access to the premises is required so the technician can reach the recorder and cameras.

Common questions
Can you reset a forgotten Hikvision password?
Yes. If you can no longer log in to a Hikvision camera, DVR or NVR, TRULINK can reset the password on site in Gurgaon and nearby Delhi NCR, then set a new login that you keep.
What does unbind device mean?
Unbind removes the camera or recorder from an old Hik-Connect or installer account. That is needed when a previous owner, tenant or vendor still has the device on their phone and you cannot add it to yours.
Do you reconfigure an existing Hikvision system?
Yes. We reconfigure recording, network, camera names, time, and phone viewing after a move, a new router, a new NVR, or a handover that is no longer working.
Do I need to be at the site?
Yes. Password reset, unbind and reconfiguration are done at the address where the cameras and recorder are installed. Share the address on a call or WhatsApp so the visit can be booked.
Is there a charge for the site visit?
Yes. On-site visits are charged by distance from the TRULINK shop in Gurgaon: ₹399 up to 7 km, ₹499 up to 10 km and ₹999 up to 15 km. Devices, cables and extra labour are quoted separately.
Can you also install new Hikvision cameras?
Yes. If the site needs extra cameras, an NVR or cabling, that is quoted after the visit. See CCTV installation for new systems.
How is a device password reset handled?
Password reset is done on site for the person with access to the premises. The visit charge applies. Labour is quoted separately. The Device Password Reset Policy sets out ownership, handover, and recordings.
